My name is Cara and I love dogs more than people! I have been a puppy owner for my whole life. I have a 10 month old Corgi named Nelli. I have been a volunteer dog handler and walker for the past 4 years at the Nashville Humane Association. I have fostered a total of 50 (and counting) dogs and puppies of all shapes and sizes within the last year alone. I have experience working with puppies as well as dogs up to 100 pounds. I really enjoy taking my foster dogs on daily walks and weekend hikes. I work from home during the week so i am available to give your pup lots of love and attention. I live in a townhouse but live in a community with nice residential neighborhoods for walks and various walking trails. I can't wait to meet your pup!

This was our first time using Rover and it was a two-week trip, so we were a little worried. Cara put all of our fears to rest. She was extremely responsive and sent regular updates with pictures to keep us in the loop. Cara was very flexible with pickup and dropoff times. We could tell our little one enjoyed his time with her and we would book Cara again for any trip we take.

I treat all of the pups I sit like I would my own dog. I give them lots of love and attention and lots of walks! I also love providing enrichment for pups and playing fetch!

Since i have a dog at home, your dog MUST be dog friendly, up to date on shots, and spayed/neutered. Due to rental rules I am unfortunately unable to sit Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Pitbulls, and Chows. I am able to administer oral medications when needed.
A typical day
My corgi Nelli loves other dogs and loves to play with them so your pup will get lots of play time and socialization with her. I live near the Greenway in Antioch and love to take dogs on walks there! I will always end the day giving your pup lots of snuggles.

Availability
I am finishing up my graduate program at Vanderbilt and work from home during the week. Since I am home all day, I have a very flexible schedule! I can off potty breaks every 2-4 hours and will take your pup on at least 1 long walk a day.
