Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Cara, I would like to start helping others with some basic training and take your fur babies for hikes in the area on the weekends. I do have a full time job 8-5, M-F and can do training at nights. On the weekends I am an avid hiker which I would like to extend to other pets as well. I think basic training like kennel work, sit, down, stay and come are very important for pets to have a happy and safe life. I also think keeping them active is important to keep them healthy and happy! I have worked in boarding, daycare, training and as a vet tech. With training and hiking it is very important to know all of my surroundings before taking a pet. Training will probably be done in your home or in a park depending on your pets temperament. Hiking will be done on trails that I have completed by myself to ensure that I know the conditions of the trail. We can also pick a hike together if that makes you more comfortable!
Information Cara I. would like to know about your pet
I believe a meeting is important before any service to make sure that we are the right fit for each other. Not just you but your pet too! I will be spending most of my time with your pets and it is important they are comfortable with me as well. If we are training or hiking I would need to know any allergies, background, like and dislikes that your pets have.
A typical day
Typical day would be working in training. Using their food or high value treats. Basic training includes sit, down, stay, place, kennel, watch and come. Hiking will vary on the length of the trails picked for your pet. Trails will be picked on the age and activity level your pet has now.

I am available after 5pm on week days for basic training and all day Saturday/Sunday for hikes around the Goodyear area! Let’s keep our fur babies happy and healthy!
