Pet care experience
I have been in animal rescue for 35+ years. I have cared for all types of animals from horses to birds. I do have experience with special medical needs and administering medications. Training that I have had includes K9 First Responder, Introduction to K9 Handling and Beginning K9 Search & Rescue. I have had years of experience working in a dog boarding/daycare facility. My dogs are my family. I do not like leaving my dogs, so I understand the importance of QUALITY care. My dogs enjoy playing in my large fenced yard or playing in the kiddie pools. My dogs are used to other dogs, as I have fostered hundreds. They love meeting new friends! Your dogs will enjoy their vacation as much as you will. Possibly more! I am happy to watch pets of all ages from puppies to seniors. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the seniors. I am also happy to watch other critters such as hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds. Feel free to message me with any questions that you might have. Also, I am hoping to add dog walking services soon.

Cara did an amazing job in taking care of my German shepherd Chase. Like any pet parent I was nervous boarding him during my time away on vacation. Upon meeting Cara my worries we’re alleviated as her yard was so spacious in was certain Chase would have a great time playing with her other pups! I got a kick out of her updates with chase playing with his other German shepherd friends. Thank you Cara for your excellent care of our baby Chase.
Cara did an awesome job with our dog. He had such a good time with her and her other dogs. We will definitely use Cara again in the future.

I have a large fenced yard and we spend much of our time outside when the weather is nice. If your dog requires their own space due to age, etc. I am happy to accommodate them. I do require that all visiting guests be dog friendly and not fence jumpers.

A typical day
We spend quite a bit of time outside in my back yard. We have an assortment of toys to play with and kiddie pools when the weather permits. If your dog would rather lounge on the couch, that is fine too.

I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend much of my time with my animals and with yours. They can be let outside as often as needed.
