Pet care experience
I’m familiar with all sorts of different animals but cats and dogs are my specialty! I volunteered at a pet store for about 3 years when I was younger and sometimes help out at a cat rescue. I currently have 11 cats and 4 dogs along with a couple other little guys. I’ve handled cats and dogs of all ages and different healths so I’m also familiar with giving animals medications.

She has so much knowledge, care, and love for every pet she sees. Canela will go out of her way to ensure that an animal is getting proper care and is healthy. All in all, Canela is someone you would want to look after your pets. There is no one who would give your pet(s) the best care and love they deserve than her.

I have a nice big yard that’s closed off, for the doggies however I still never let them out of my sight. While walking dogs I prefer to not use retractable leashes so I can keep them close to me and out of harms way. When it comes to cats my biggest priority is making sure there isn’t anything they could get caught up in or any kind of poisonous plants they could possibly eat.

Please let me know about any kind of behavioral issues (if they get along with other animals, biting, etc.), their likes and dislikes, if they have any medications and anything else you think is important I know. If possible I would like to meet you and your pet before the appointment just to make sure your pet and I will be a good match!
A typical day
For cats I will play with them using their favorite toys however I know cats are known to be pretty lazy little guys so if they don’t want to play with toys, I will happily give them pets and cuddles instead. As for dogs, I’d be more than happy to take them on walks, take them in the backyard to play, pet and cuddle them or even work on/ learn some tricks.

Availability
Since I have pets of my own, pet care is something that fits into my daily routine. Making sure my cats litter boxes are clean is a huge thing for me and of course making sure everyone has full food and water bowls.
