Prior vet tech, now social worker!
Pet care experience
I started my career originally working in animal health care, I went to school to be a vet tech. I worked as a certified veterinary technician for 5 years. I loved it and love working with all animals. I did this while in college getting my BA and now I work in human healthcare, but this hasn’t changed how much I care for animals. I will still give your babies the best care possible!!!
Reviews
They were a superhero! I thought I set them up to fail with lack of communication about the keys/entrances, but they found a way around that obstacle & took great care of my fur babies. The place was like an oven because automatic heaters, but they never complained & kept in contact with me for updates and fun chatting! Very trustworthy and kindhearted.
Caine great with Bonnie
Cane accepted sitting our 2 dogs and 4 cats at short notice. He provided pictures and plenty of updates while we were away and did well with my reactive dog. I was especially worried about leaving my dog with anyone and almost didn't go on the trip at all because of that but Cane did well meeting him outside and then was able to interact with him while we were gone! He continued to provide care for our pets even after losing access to his car due to the icy roads while we were away. It was very helpful to have someone with experience and patience to work with all our social animals. We will definitely reach out to him again next year 😄
Cane was amazing with our dogs! They were well taken care of and I would recommend everyone to consider Cane to watch your babies while you're away.

Information Cane E. would like to know about your pet
I am experienced with dogs and cats that may have special needs. One of my cats has special needs herself. While I was a veterinary technician, I often fostered dogs and cats that had special needs. Please just let me know how you’d like me to care for your fur baby and I will do my very best!!!
A typical day
I like to start the day with a quick walk to feel the air and wake everyone up! Then it’s breakfast time. Then we relax for a few minutes before our real, long walk. Then we can come relax for a little bit, depending on your pet’s energy level. Next I’d like to go out into the yard and play for a while. We’d wrap up play time with a short walk around the block. Then we go back in for some for R&R. Then it’s dinner time! After a little time to let dinner settle in your babies bellies, we’ll take a nice long walk to end the day!!!

I work a 9-5, but I live 5 minutes from my office and I have a lot of flexibility. I’m mostly looking to do this outside of those hours and weekends, but exceptions can be made with notice.
