I am very careful and responsible with the dogs under my care and that applies to being outside the house, diet, and cleanliness. An example of my parenting style for my doghter 👩👧: 👟 shoes are worn when going outside to keep her feet clean and safe from any dangers on the floor, unless it is a bath day and/or a safe walk path > 30 minutes 🧻 before coming indoors, three separate wipe downs using unscented Earth Rated Dog Wipes 1️⃣🍑 pee pee area and then booty (from front to back to prevent cross-contamination) 2️⃣🐾 paws/legs 3️⃣😗 mouth area 🪬 eye boogers are gently picked every morning and anytime I see it 👶 fur is brushed daily to prevent any mattes 🧼 food and water bowl are cleaned daily with soap and extra hot water 💧 water is changed at least 2 times a day with fresh filtered water (and changed if I see any food particles after a meal) 🫢 mouth is wiped with a fresh and clean soaked in warm water towel after each meal 🥕 low calorie/limited ingredient treats are given according to the 10% rule 🍽️ fresh food is given twice a day on schedule 🪥 oral brushing before sleeping 🚽 bathroom breaks at least 5 times per day 🙅♀️ toxic foods are banned inside the house with no access to the kitchen whatsoever 🥰 and lots of playtime throughout the day! ✨You can expect the same or better treatment, depending on your dog's needs.✨ If you are looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, careful, understands how anxious it could be for a stranger to watch your pup, gives positive reinforcements, and talks to your dog-child in loving, reassuring, and high-pitched voices, I’m that person! I have always been an anxious wreck when I take long vacations where I can’t bring my dog. A close friend of mine referred me to Candy as she said she is highly detailed and experienced in taking care of dogs. When I did a meet and greet with Candy, she immediately knew the kind of pet owner I was. She was professional, informative, punctual, and reassuring from the start. She asked me questions about my dog’s routine and behavior so she can best care for my dog while I’m gone. Based off her questions and the way she treated my dog, I could tell she is highly experienced like my friend said. Candy went above and beyond taking my dog on long walks and providing lots of playtimes. What impressed me the most was she taught my dog a new trick! I will only entrust her to care for my doghter in the future.

I have a patio and the area has lots of fresh grass, trees, and water view. If time permits, we may take longer or more frequent walks around the marina throughout the safe neighborhood. Special walks will either be in a very low-traffic neighborhood or at the park. I always make sure that the leash and harness are secure. When crossing the street, the dogs will always be to my side, never in front or behind. I'm careful of what they are sniffing and will not allow them to get near anything that would be potentially harmful. Filtered water will be brought from home and I will not allow them to drink from public/stranger's bowls. Feeding will be done in separate locations of the house (one in the room & one in the kitchen). Each pup will have its own food and water bowl. I’m very protective and strict with my doghter’s safety and well-being, and I will be just as much with yours. Communication is key so if you need me to send you pics/FaceTime, I can absolutely do that during regular hours (9 am - 12 am). Everything in the house is dog-proofed for their safety. Also, 我會說中文! Room temperature is manually controlled so that it's not too cool or hot and an air purifier is on 24/7. Brand new carpets are vacuumed daily. No harsh chemicals are ever used around pets and toys/sheets are washed weekly with Seventh Generation's free & clear detergent.

Please let me know if there are any special accommodations needed. Please provide a leash, harness, water/food bowl, bed, toys, blankets, or anything needed to help your dog feel safe and at home - otherwise, just a leash and harness with associated tags. A written schedule/requirement/allergies/anything I need to know would be appreciated ahead of time. I require that the dog is current on vaccines, has an active flea and tick prevention, and is clean (if only daycare - a wipe down and paw washing) or gets a bath upon arrival (if overnight boarding and sleeping on bed - please inquire about grooming). The price of grooming is dependent on size and coat, please inquire if you have any questions. Grooming price starts at $50 and is dependent on size and hair texture/length. If grooming is requested, your dog can expect a luxury spa treatment using your choice of premium shampoo and conditioner below, warm water, tone-deaf singing/talking to calm nerves, towel drying, combing, blowout using a Dyson Supersonic blow dryer on a medium to low speed and using 140°F - 176°F temperature, and a premium treat for being a good girl/boy. Choices of shampoo and conditioner: 1. Isle of Dogs' No. 16 White Coat Evening Primrose Oil Shampoo (for white coated dogs) and No. 51 Heavy Conditioner, 2. Kiehl's Shampoo and conditioner, 3. Or shampoo and/or conditioner provided by you.
A typical day
I like to walk around the marina because the dogs seem to enjoy the water view, people watching, and seeing other dogs along the path. If driving is needed, I require the dog to be secured in a dog seat and seatbelted in the back seat on the way to the destination. Safety first! I like to teach tricks as learning is always fun and a great way to stimulate the mind. Some tricks I have taught in the past to other pups are "boop", "spin", "say hi", "roll over", "bang", and a few others. If there is anything you are working on with your dog, I'd be more than happy to try to reinforce it (jumping, going on the bed, sitting on the lap, etc.). I also like to use my “monster hands” to activate zoomies and play hide and seek. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with unconditional love and gentle care.

I WFH M-F and my world revolves around fur-children’s well-being. Our current schedule: 🕣 08:30 am - bathroom break 🕘 09:00 am - breakfast 🕘 09:10 am - dental chew 🕛 12:00 pm - bathroom break/walk for 30 min to 1 hour 🕒 03:00 pm - bathroom break 🕔 05:00 pm - dinner 🕠 05:30 pm - bathroom break/walk for 30 min to 1 hour 🕛 12:00 am - bathroom break 🕛 12:10 am - oral brushing I’m away from home at most 2 hours per day if I choose to go to the gym. Before leaving for the gym, ad-free soft jazz/piano/harp music is played at a quiet volume, all doors are closed (except small kitchen windows for fresh air), unnecessary plugs are taken out of the outlet, and floors are checked for any potential dangers. The kitchen/stoves are triple-checked before heading out.
