Pet care experience
I have been a vet tech for over 10 years. I also have background in basic canine obedience training, grooming and pet sitting for friends & family. I have been passionate about caring for animals since an early age.

Candy Hughes is the only caregiver we trust with our precious dog, Missy. Candy has always been on time and responsible in following our requests with Missy’s many special needs. Candy has walked our dog, feed her and given her meds. We can see Candy is a loving pet caregiver. We highly recommend this young lady.

I prefer to walk pets in their familiar parks or neighborhood routes. In homes with multiple dogs, I prefer to feed them in separate rooms to altercations unless different routines are already established and indicated upon meet & greets.

I love to stimulate pets mentally and physically whether it’s with brain toys or walks through areas they love to get their usual sniffs in or just playing their favorite game on their own turf to burn some energy.

Availability
I work full time Tue-Th 7:30 am-6:30 pm. I am available Fri-Mo. My off days start at 4:00am, I exercise my dogs early in the morning and again in the evening, leaving plenty of time in the day for additional pet care/play.
