We live in the country, about 20 miles north of Northport (82/69 intersection). No fenced in yard. But a large outside pen for outdoor boarding of up to 4 dogs at once, with a very large dog house and a 4 foot tall chain link fence. Also an outside kennel that is smaller for the indoor dogs that don’t like it outside. I prefer outdoor boarding but will accept one (possibly 2) dog(s), crate trained & House broken for indoor boarding. We have a male unaltered miniature blue heeler (also known as an Australian Cattle Dog). As well as an unaltered female red heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). Our furbabies are crate trained and stays inside at night. Our place is on 5 acres with an additional 10 acre farm just down the road. We have a 10 yr old daughter and a 15 year old son that are both very animal friendly. My main goal with boarding is to earn a little bit of extra money. But getting to love on new dogs is always a major plus.
