-I'm the girl who makes friends with the dog at a party- Hi there, my name is Candida and I am a self-professed crazy dog lady. I've been taking care of dogs for the past 15 years - 14 years as a dog Mom and 3 of those years working with dogs (boarding, sitting, dog walking). I recently moved to Vancouver from Portland, Oregon and would love to continue working with and meeting new pups here! I downsized from a house to an apartment when I moved to Vancouver - so currently I can only board smaller dogs. But I'm available to walk and check-in on dogs of all sizes. I have experience with senior pups - I have administered meds both oral and injections, and changed diapers). And I have a lot of experience with younger pups as well. In my home your pup would enjoy sunlit naps on the balcony, cozy dog beds, blankies, tuck in service, downtown seawall walks, and treats of course! And we'd have lots of doggie photo shoots to keep you updated throughout the day on all the cuteness and fun. I know how difficult and stressful it can be to leave your pup in the care of someone else - all we ever want is someone to love on and care for our dogs the same way we would. It would be my pleasure to care for your pup and make them as comfortable and as happy as possible - whether a walk or a stay - while their favorite person is away. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I'm able to give plenty of time and attention to your pup during the day. And my pug Walter will keep your pup company if / when I need to leave the house. I have a 7 month old puppy so my home is very dog friendly and pet safe. I can also crate your pup if needed.
