My name is Candice. I was a veterinarian technician student and have volunteered in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation facilities on and off since my teens. I am able and qualified to care for almost any animal you have from cats and dogs to rats and reptiles. I know that a lot of pet parents aren’t just parents to one animal. Alot of the time you have fish or hamsters or snakes along with your cats or dogs. I’m very happy to care for them all or whichever ones need the care. Let me know what you have and what needs to be done before you book and maybe we can work something out. I love all dogs and animals and would love to help you get some free time or and take your pups out for walks when you can't. I will love and treat your buddies as if they were mine. Not only can I sit for, walk and excercise your pup but if you would like any basic/trick training done as well I’m more than happy to work with you and your dog. If your dog requires any medications, I am capable of administering most (no IV injections) . If your dog requires exercise I’m happy to run and play with them, or if they just need love and cuddles I’m more than happy to do that as well. Thanks for reading and I can't wait to meet you!

Candice always gives a full report of how my pups are doing, complete with photos! I feel comfortable leaving my pups home and knowing that there is a caring sitter coming by while I am away.

Candice is a fantastic pet sitter and I would recommend her to anyone! She gave our pups ample play sessions during the two days that we were gone, and sent us many pictures to update us on all the fun that they were having! She has a strong charisma with animals that you notice as soon as you see her interacting with your pets. I think my pets really enjoyed her and would love to have her watch them again!

My care for them completley depends upon what the clients want. Everyone has different preferences and ways of caring, but in my house my animals sleep in our beds, and are cared for as our children. lots of behavioral enrichment and physical exercise. breakfast and dinner on scheduled times, and lots of potty breaks. I take my dog with me as much as i can and understand the importance of our animals having real interactions with us, not just quick potty break / liter box cleaning and throwing some food down. they need mental and physical exercise just like we do.

I would like to know if the dog has any issues with anything. Any fears or aggressions, or any habits or characteristics that you believe I should know. Are they prey driven? Do they chase after wheels or other dogs they pass by?
A typical day
We can go on walks around the city, or at parks. We can go on hikes or go to the beach, it all depends on what your dogs capability and preference is as well as what the weather permits. I can be a fairly active person so if the dog needs more excercise than a basic walk i can take them on jogs or play fetch with them to get some more physical activity. I am also a huge cuddler so your dog will never feel lack of attention or love. I also really enjoy doing basic/trick training so your pup may come home with a new skill or two.

Availability
I work part time mon - fri 1-5 so am mostly available minus the 4 hours I’m at work so I’m able to house sit and take your pups out almost any time that’s needed and can get them out before work if they can be left alone for a couple hours during the day. I do have a very friendly well behaved dog who loves people and other dogs so your pup would have to be ok with other dogs if I’m house sitting but just for walks and check in’s he can stay home
