I always had dogs growing up. Rambo the greyhound so sweet would run around our dining room table as if he was still at the track. (Made my mom nervous but it was hilarious to the rest of us). We also had Sparky a black lab and DIxie a chiuahua/terrier mix. We also grew up on a farm so we had strays that would stop by for a meal and stay over. My sister started to insist we only get dogs from the rescue so that's what we did. I'm not allowed to have pets at my apartment but I love being around the furry friends. I also occasionally pet sit for my friend when she goes out of town on vacation or for work.
