Hi! My name is Candice! My husband and I have pretty recently moved to the Oak Island area to be closer to his job. I am a stay at home “fur mom” to our two babies (Lyka-standard poodle & Layla-lab). We LOVE play dates & frequent walks (especially on the beach). I’ve decided to become a host for Rover to spread out some love until we are ready for another dog to join our family! I know how much stress leaving your best friend can be-and I want to do our best to alleviate some of that stress! Your fur baby will be so welcome in my home and will be treated like they are my own! Rover has been such a saving grace to us when we’ve had to leave our girls behind, so I hope I can be that for you and your fur baby!

Our sweet dog Max was in Candice’s care for nine days while we were out of the Country on vacation. We knew he was in good hands and wouldn’t worry about him while we were gone. We received updates and pics of him each day. Max also had a great time with Candice’s 2 dogs, It was a good fit all around and we will definitely book with Candice for future boarding or day care needs.
Candice took amazing care of Iris (our Great Dane) while we were on vacation! She sent us pictures almost every day and regularly let us know how well she was doing. I know Iris enjoyed her stay as well, because she seems to keep looking for Lyka (Candice's poodle) who, based on the pictures, became her bestie. Candice is truly a dog lover and will take care of your pup like her own. Iris had such a good time with Candice and her pups that we have already booked her for Iris's next stay.
Candice was AMAZING. Very reliable and I loved getting such a sweet photo of Sam! I never have to worry about Sam when she is sitting for me, and he doesn’t want her to go either! Thanks so much for being so sweet and passionate, will definitely book again.
