Pet care experience
I have helped friends of the family and slowly networked to help while people are on vacation or visiting family. I have taken care of dogs that need pills and cats that have needed special care due to age or disabilities. My grandma has a dog with bad back legs and we have worked to find ways to strengthen them, but also make sure she isn’t injuring herself and helping when needed. I often will make sure dogs are walked or exercised, a walk in the morning, and playing outside towards the night.

I will prefer to take care of any animals at their owners place for the comfort of the animals but I do have a separate space for cats in my house that can be utilized (upstairs) and for dogs I have a friendly dog who gets along with others easily, she is small, but easy going. I can also keep them separate. I don’t mind dogs and cats being on the furniture however, I understand if that is something you don’t want me to do because it’s not allowed when you’re home. I need to know any allergies, special needs, medications, how they react to other animals in the area, if they have a tendency to play with/destroy personal items and what should be kept out of reach. Ways to approach animals when we first interact and if there are any routines that they usually follow.

Availability
I am working part time but generally work days so I’d come by in the morning (before 7) and again either during lunch or after 5 and one more time before bed for dogs and for cats I can clean their litter boxes twice a day. I can also help with any special needs any animals may need.
