I know that it can be hard to leave your beloved family member in someone else's care, and I can provide frequent text and photo updates so you know that your pet feels happy and cared for. I aim to provide a calm, loving, and fun environment where your dog will feel safe and comfortable in your absence. My two rescue dogs are hound mixes who get along well with other dogs. They are gentle and good at giving dogs space as needed, but are also energetic and love to play. After an initial meeting to make sure that everyone wants to be friends, we would love to welcome your dog(s) into our home. My dogs have free access to the house when we are together, and when I leave the house, they stay in their crates with calming audio or videos to entertain them. They do not stay alone often, but when we do need to leave the dogs by themselves, it is usually for less than 4 hours. My dogs eat meals in their individual crates, and I would feed your dog individually as well to make sure that meals are private, calm, and not rushed. There are dog beds and blankets in most rooms of the house, and my boys also like to snuggle up on the couch. We have two large crates and are well-stocked with toys. Your dog is welcome to use our supplies, and there is space for your dog's crate, bed, toys, and dishes if you prefer. My dogs and I take frequent walks (they love the dog park!). They enjoy playing in our fenced back yard. I am happy to provide individual walks and play if your dog would prefer some one on one time, and can customize the duration and intensity of exercise to suit your dog's needs and preferences. If your dog is more comfortable walking in certain locations (for example, if your dog prefers quiet rather than busy areas), I will gladly accommodate.
