My husband and I moved to Dahlonega, Georgia in 2019. We currently have one sweet boy named, Scooter. We rescued him from Blue Ridge Humane Society.

We live in the mountains and have a fenced yard that is on a hill. Lots of good smells to go potty. I believe dogs are not to be left outside unattended, as there are too many temptations to try to jump a fence, dig a hole, or just try to escape. When in the backyard fenced area, I would be out there with the dogs.

I prefer dogs under 40 lbs unless you have a very docile larger dog. I don't want to be overpowered and have something happen to your sweet pup because I'm not strong enough to handle them. Growing up around smaller dogs is my comfort zone, but having a "meet and greet" prior to providing any services would be preferred to establish a feeling of security between us.
A typical day
I would take direction from the owner and do my best to provide the type of activities your dog is comfortable with and make them feel "at home" with me in a very short time. Walk breaks on our quiet gravel road, potty breaks in the fenced backyard or playing fetch, toys, treats, love, food, and water.

I work from home right now, so I get to spend my day with my fur baby by my side! I would definitely consider watching your fur baby, especially if Scooter and your four-legged baby were buddies. Having a playmate is something I believe Scooter would enjoy. He is more of a lounge-around type of dog. He likes to nap, nap, and nap some more.
