I have 7+ years experience professionally working with dogs and personal experience training my current dog as my service dog. We have passed 2 levels of the AKC Canine Good Citizens tests and are moving on to our next level. I was raised around large and small animals alike and have raised and trained horses, sheep, goats, and dogs since I can remember as part of my family. From a young age my mother taught me a love and passion for helping animals find their callings in life. Much like humans all animals have a purpose and helping them fulfill theirs is rewarding and fulfilling for me too. I'm happy to report that with puppies and older dogs alike I have been able to successfully handle just about anything they throw my way behavior wise no matter how big or small the dog. I have been a certified WAG! as well as privately worked with multiple clients to help them with their dogs behavioral and other needs.

I have Candace watch my puppy and take care of her on a regular basis. She is kind and responsible dog owner who i trust the care of my puppy to her. With her knowledge of animals in general I call her with my concerns when it comes to my own dog but also advise on different training techniques for my puppy.
Candace was amazing! She took great care of my lab/blue heeler mix who can be a hyper handful. She played fetch with him, feed and watered him and kept him happy while I was out of town. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs/wants assistance with their pet!

I have a small fenced yard and a friendly older dog. He is non reactive to other dogs and is great with young and small dogs as well. We go on walks 2-3 times a day on leash in the neighborhood and sometimes to nearby pet parks when available. Fresh Water is available “on tap” at our house with automatic waterer and while my dog is a grazer, I am set up to support dogs with all types of feeding schedules. We have recently added a sweet deaf puppy (1.5 years old) to our pack and while he may sound loud, he is the lease ferocious little thing you can meet. He loves playing with other puppies and certainly gives my older boy a run for his money some days.

NO breed preferences however its always good to know what level of obedience training or understanding a dog has. It's fine if its not much whether or not they're just a pup. However starting out with as much knowledge as possible about what makes your dog special always helps.
A typical day
Once I have a new client, I check surrounding areas for pet friendly environments such as parks and trails that are best suited for the dog's breed and age. If possible, when a yard or other fenced area is available that the dog is familiar with I am happy to play fetch and run around the back yard with any dogs seeking more stimulating activity than a simple stroll in the park.

Availability
I am regularly available and flexible to your pets needs. I work from home as a freelance creative consultant and Production team coordinator for small businesses so I make my own schedule mostly. Being that I grew up on a ranch, and now live in a more suburban area, working witch animals as a caregiver and trainer is on way I stay connected to animals of all breeds and sizes.
