I love meet and greets but understand that they're sometimes isn't time. Getting the history of the animal is important to me whether raised as a puppy or a rescue so I know what their personality is like. I look out for what the animals needs are, do they need medication, are they on a special diet what does their stool look like, are they drinking enough water, are they acting at baseline? These are all daily questions I run through with my own dog and I would do the same with yours on top of any additional instructions provided. I have studied dog behavior and continue to do so.
