Pet care experience
My family has owned dogs my whole life, so I have a wealth of experience caring for animals. Over the past three years living in the Charlotte area I have dog sat for numerous families and provided care for their pets and their homes while they were away. I am comfortable with walking, feeding, overnight stays, and other pet-care needs.

Candace was so communicative not only with pictures but kept us updated when one of our pups wasn’t eating. She also left our house in perfect condition.
Candace came several times a day and patiently looked out for my elderly dog. She picked up the side yard poop so he wouldn't track it in. Fresh water and food were always refilled. In the gaps when he wasn't sleeping, nice patient walks were taken.
Candace is responsive, responsible, and caring for pets! She is eager to care for your dog and she has a passion for making sure the pet feels safe and loved. Couldn’t recommend her more!!
Candace is the most caring and thoughtful person when it comes to dogs. She'll take the best care of your fur babies and treat them like her own while she's at it!

I love to play and interact with the pets I care for, so they get a lot of activity time. When I am at the home for long periods of time I like to take the dogs out multiple times so they can be outside as much as they want to.

If your dog has any specific behaviors I should be aware of, please let me know! For example, if your dog doesn't do well around other dogs then I will stay away from overly populated walk routes. If your dog has certain routines or habits they prefer at home, I want to help keep them on schedule and feeling as normal as possible while their human is away.
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I walk to new places if they are willing. Local greenways or dog parks are such fun places for pets to get out their energy and explore a new setting! I also try to give the dog as much attention as possible when we are indoors, whether it be playing games or providing extra snuggle time, I think it's important for them to get the same attention their loving owners would provide!

Availability
I work full time so would not be available during the day but would be able to stay at your home throughout the week. On the weekends I would be able to spend ample time with your pet.
