Pet care experience
Hello! I recently moved from NYC where I cared for and trained dogs for about 7 years. I miss working with dogs and I would like to start doing it again, even if it's for only a few families. I have extensive experience, and some great references that I'd be happy to show you! I work in Social Media Marketing, in a dog friendly office currently, but able to either bring your dog to work or take breaks to walk if you're nearby. Your dog is a family member, and it's important that they are treated as such...which is what I offer. I love dogs and have been around them my whole life, and they deserve the best we can give them!! They're our best friends and the best of us.

Candace was so wonderful with our puppy. Percy came home happy and better trained then when she began her stay. Candace has a tremendous knowledge and depth of experience with dogs, which you would guess even if you didn't read her resume. It's obvious how much she cares about dogs. Percy got lots of attention, exercise and play time. I appreciated that Candace followed our "no dogs on the furniture" rule. I can't say enough good things about Percy's stay!
Candace & Nessie (her dog) are wonderful!! Luna had a blast (a little too much fun) staying with them. Candace sent lots of pictures and updates! This was Luna's first stay away from us and she is still most definitely in her puppy stage so we truly appreciate the patience she had with our crazy pup!
Candace kept our newly adopted adult dog for a long stay over the holidays. Candace sent us pictures and short texts nearly every day so we knew Lexi was doing well. When I picked Lexi up, she had clearly bonded with Candace who is a very professional, experienced, and caring sitter . Would definitely recommend her.

All breeds are worth loving equally. However of course yours is the best :) The things that would be helpful to know are any personality traits or quirks that would be good to know before going on walks or meeting another dog on the sidewalk. What habits does your dog have? Any treats you have they really love? A particular ball or toy they can't sleep without?
A typical day
There is a great park near my house that we can go on walks and the whole area around me is gorgeous and suited for walking. Every dog requires something different and I can't wait to work with you and for you to let me know what activities your dog loves the best!!
