Pet care experience
My name is Candace, and pets are my joy! Although this is a new profile, I’m not not new to Rover! I started Rover approximately 1 and half years ago, and have made my way back to pet sitting since! I’ve grown up with animals in and out my house for as long as I can remember! I’m tending to my elderly dog, whose now 13, and my 3 year old chihuahua, along with my 10 year old cat! I’ve had experience with hamsters, Guinea pigs, and rabbits as well! Animals bring me so much joy and peace, and giving them affection and ensuring they get enough playtime is what I take pride in. My duty is to make sure that your fur babies are well taken care of, loved up, played around with, and tended to while in my presence. I am comfortable with giving any pets medication if needed. I also trained my chihuahua when he was a puppy. I‘m fulfilled with the presence of animals, and any one of your pets that I have the joy to care for. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends, and create an unforgettable experience!

I would recommend Candace to anyone who needs their pets watched for a short or long period of time. Each time was a great experience. She was always flexible and dependable. Even with watching three dogs (sometimes four) I felt comfortable and confident that Candace was going to take care of them like they were her own. Candance is great to work with and your pets will be lucky to get to work with her!
Candace is an animal lover, but especially dogs and cats! We have had dogs since she was born and it was love at first sight. We bought her a chihuahua during the pandemic and she is in love with Zeus, her sleeping buddy. She is very gifted in friending other dogs and loves making new friends.

Besides feeding and walking your dog or cat, I as well dedicate a substantial amount of time to show affection to your pet. I love petting them to make them feel comfortable and safe around me, along with relaxing with them; and play time is essential! Every moment I spend with your pet is a special time for bonding, and I’m so thankful for this opportunity. One of the most rewarding things I’ve been able to experience with my clients is creating a bond that is sustainable and unforgettable. I love to bring my pets, and any pets that I have the joy of caring for, outside for walks, have play time and throw them balls, and get their energy out! I enjoy walking around neighborhoods or going on hiking trails, along with sitting outdoors with my pets and enjoying the weather! I also enjoy teaching pets new tricks, and training them!

I am a college student with plenty of flexibility! I am used to coming home to my 3 lovely pets after each class I attend, and I am overwhelmingly excited to dedicate my time to spending quality time with your pets! I am available at various times throughout the week, and I am available on weekends!
