Pet care experience
I am a Wildlife Conservation graduate from UF. I have lived with animals all my life and love spending time with them. I have experience with animal behavior and have a year of experience at a nature center taking care of exotic animals such as snakes, and turtles. I spent 4 months working with and training with Grey Wolves. I pet sit for all of my friends and family regularly. I ensure every animal in my care is very happy and comfortable by adjusting my routine to benefit your pet. This could mean a 20-minute belly rub or 30 minutes of non-stop playtime, or whatever your animal prefers. Animals get excited every time they see me, and I believe pet sitters should be equally as excited to spend time with them. I always send photos of the time spent together! I worked for a professional pet sitting company for 2 years!

Candace was awesome! I have a golden retriever puppy that is full of energy. Candace took her to the park and played fetch with her. It was also good for my dog to socialize and play with her dog. She sent me the cutest pictures of the dogs together. I would highly recommend her. Also at the end of the day my dog was so dirty that she even bathed her for me! We're very happy with the care she provided
As a very protective mom over my fur babies, Candace made me feel very at ease with her watching my two large breed (German Shepherd mix) dogs during a weekend getaway. She has a true passion for working with animals and it definitely shows. She provided my dogs with an abundance of attention and exercise while I was away all while providing me updates and pictures during her visits. I can say my dogs are not the easiest to care for, but Candace was happily able to accommodate them in every way. I would recommend her to anyone I know!

I believe trust is a major component in the welfare of your pet. I believe it is important to meet a dog before sitting to form trust between me and the dog. I do not have a preferred breed and can work with " difficult" animals.
A typical day
Depending on the area I can walk them around the neighborhood or simply play in the backyard. We can play fetch with a frisbee, ball, favorite toy, or even some good old sticks. I also enjoy a good game of tug of war. For the dogs who enjoy a good mind game, hide and go seek is an all-time favorite. I always engage in mental challenges and work on new commands or improve on ones already known.
