Pet care experience
Hello everyone! My name is Cayde and thank you for taking the time to look me up! I previously worked at Mud Bay for 6 years so I’m well versed in dog and cat behaviors, nutrition, natural remedies, etc. I have a German Shepherd mix (Fleetwood) of my own as well that I co-parent with my partner, Daisy and it’s one of the most rewarding experiences as a dog owner I can imagine. I’ve cared for senior dogs/cats, reactive dogs and dogs with epilepsy. I work at a retirement community in north Seattle and I normally work Monday through Friday 8am-2/3pm each day. In my spare time I like to go exploring different parks that are dog friendly in Seattle and experience new trails that allows for our dog to get out and enjoy the sights with us. I’ll happily take them anywhere I can that’s dog friendly with permission or will happily stay at home and snuggle on the couch if that is more their style.

Cayde was SO wonderful! He provided me with updates, the critters were well cared for, and my house felt amazing when I returned home. I couldn't have hoped for better care!
Cayde has house sat for my two kitties twice now and did a great job. I will definitely use him again in the future. The kitties were well taken care of. I received regular updates and pictures of my goof balls. And he cleaned the house and changed the sheets before I returned. It was great having someone so knowledgeable about pets as well as reliable and easy to work with.
Candace is amazing with our dog Joey. Joey loves his walks and comes back exhausted.

I would love to know about all the things that may effect your pet’s behaviors, stress level and/or things that you’ve experienced to make your pet’s lives easier while you’re away. Do they bolt when you open the door? What vets to do they go to? Are they reactive to other animals, dogs, cats, etc? These are all things I want to make sure I know to best provide services for you and your pets.

Generally, I’d like to know the following to assure your pet is taken care of to the best of my abilities: dietary needs, amounts of exercise needed, permissions on if they can go on hikes or small day trips, if they’re friendly with other dogs, intolerances of food items so I can give proper treats. I love all breeds of dogs, but I have a deep love of German Shepherds, Great Danes, Norwegian Elkhounds and Viszlas.
A typical day
It’s dependent on where you live! I look up trails and parks relative to your area but a few I love to go to is: Golden Gardens, Carkeek Park, Magnuson and Discovery Park. I like being out in nature and I like to experience what this world has to offer with our fur babies.

Once I’m off work, my attention is focused on your pets. I’m a strong advocate for a lot of communication to assure that you’re at ease while you’re away and I want to establish a good amount of trust during my stay.
