Pet care experience
My name is Camryn, and I currently maintain a WFH lifestyle, allowing me the extra time to spend doing what I love: taking care of pets! I love animals and have worked with a variety of dogs throughout the years, as well as other animals like cats and reptiles (I have a pet cat and a pet snake myself!) As such, I know that every pet is unique and that not every animal has the same temperament. It's important to understand a pet's boundaries in order to make them feel safe and secure, and I pride myself on being able to pick up on each pet's personality traits that make them special. If you have a dog/cat/exotic pet that requires a little bit more diligence or care, or if you just want someone who is going to care about your pet as much as you would, I'm your gal!

Having worked with a variety of animals over the years, I am very in tune with animal body language and their wants/needs. I've cared for elderly animals (my own cat is 16!) and animals that bite with very subtle warnings (read: snake) so I understand quite well that all animals have their own quirks and how to look out for them. I like to think this, paired with the fact that I know how to follow an owner's instructions to the T, makes me a great petsitter.

If possible, I would love to know if your dog has anything they do/don't like (ex. your dog does not like other dogs, etc.) if your dog has a favorite toy/treat, and the usual commands you use with your dog. This will make it much easier for me to get to know your dog in the long run!
A typical day
I can do anything from high-paced runs to leisurely walks with your dog! I also know how to prepare lick-mats and other toys that stimulate a dog's natural instincts. I personally enjoy going to parks or large greenspaces, and I usually avoid crowded areas with a lot of people and cars when possible.

Since I work from home, I can fit in pet care almost anywhere in my day. Popping out to walk your pet or drop in can happen any time, as long as I have prior notice.
