Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs of many sizes and cats since I was in middle school. I enjoy meeting and caring for all animals. I have given medicine and have made sure the pets are as comfortable as they can be while their owners are away! I currently work at a veterinary clinic as a receptionist, and interact with all different types of pets all day. We also have a boarding facility that I will help in when needed. I have a dog of my own named Carson. He is a Yorkshire Terrier who’s my best friend. I also have a orange cat named Ozzie. Unfortunately when I adopted Ozzie he was positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). Thankfully it does not affect his day to day, but he cannot be around other cats. I am very respectable of peoples houses and understand how much their fur babies mean to them.

I have a good sized backyard, it is not fenced in but I am planning on getting it fenced. I would make sure that your pet gets the right exercise that they need. I also have many toys that my dog would not mind sharing, along with many many dog beds (that’s if they aren’t allowed on the couch/bed). Every pet is different and i’m willing to make what works happen.

Any behaviors or quirks that makes the dog who it is, ex. my dog loves to give kisses and will not stop until he gives them. Any trigger points or areas on the body that either, are in pain or they do not like to be touched there. Their personality type, are they super shy and need to warm up, or super excited to meet anyone. Of course any medical issues or things to stay away from!
A typical day
I love seeing dogs with their favorite toys. I would play their favorite game, and work on tricks to physically and mentally exercise them, making them one happy opup. Letting them sniff on walks is very important as, letting dogs sniff on walks decreases any anxiety they might have. My favorite place to take a walk is in my neighborhood that is quite quiet with lots of shade along the path, and lots of smells!
