Your dog's dream sitter!
Pet care experience
I have been caring for all types of animals for as long as I can remember. Not only have I grown up with dogs of all sizes, various health problems, and different backgrounds, I also have experience with cats, reptiles, bunnies, etc. I am so much of an animal enthusiast that I even have an "Exotic Animal Handler" certification from the State of South Carolina where I worked with snakes, turtles, and even alligators!
Reviews
Camryn has much experience with rescuing and providing a healthy, happy home for multiple rescues who were in last chance shelters. She’s very familiar with high anxiety animals and giving medications as well. She’s also very familiar with caring for cats. Your pets will be lucky to spend time playing, walking, and enjoying the outdoors with her😃

Safety, trust & environment
In my own home, I could only watch animals for a short period of time considering the fact that I have two rescue dogs myself. As for in a client's home, I could stay in the home, or I could stop by a few times a day to check on the pet, walk them, feed them, etc. It all depends on what the client would be most comfortable with.

Information Camryn O. would like to know about your pet
I need to know first and foremost if there are any food allergies. I almost always have homemade baked treats with me, as that is what my dogs enjoy, so if there are any dietary restrictions I need to know, Also, it is important for me to know the pet's limits. For example, one of my rescues was very abused in his early life and now has a huge fear of anyone of anything touching his paws. If there is a strong restraint or fear such as this, I need to be made aware so everyone stays safe and happy. Finally, I need to know if there are any medical or medicinal needs for the pet while they are in my care. I do have experience in a veterinarian technician position so I am comfortable administering medication. I have to do it every day and night for my own dog :)
A typical day
I am very conscious of the dog's attitude and personality that day so I will adjust my expectations accordingly. For those higher energy days, we will go on long walks, check out the neighborhood smells, play outside or with favorite toys, etc. Also, I like to do some minimal training such as easy tricks or responses as it is good to stimulate the brain as well. On lower energy days, we may justly outside in the sun, play with a toy, get some belly rubs, or even go for a ride with the windows down.

Since I just moved back home to the area and am still readjusting, animal care is my first priority. Therefore, I am hoping to make my various jobs through Rover a permanent part of my weekly routine.
