Pet care experience
I've been caring for animals my whole life in different ways! In high school I worked at a doggy daycare/ kennel for two years where I learned how to care for lots of different dog breeds and cater my care to their specific needs. After that I worked for a year and a half at a popular pet supply store where I learned what your pets like from food, treats, and toys! And now I work as an animal care professional (zookeeper) at the Birmingham Zoo; although I'm not taking care of traditional cats and dogs everyday, I provide top notch care for several various species and provide them the best care possible everyday! All of these different kinds of animal care experiences throughout my life makes me the perfect candidate to provide well rounded care for your beloved fur baby!

Camryn was absolutely amazing. I just moved to town and had a trip booked prior. Never used Rover for house sitting, but Camryn exceeded my expectations. I met with her prior to the booking to go over everything. She sent updated messages and pictures daily showing me my pup was well taken care of! Will definitely use her services in the future!
Camryn was an amazing sitter for our dogs Forrest and Mason! She always communicated, kept us up to date and ask any questions she wasn’t sure of to make sure our boys were getting the VIP treatment. Information Camryn K. would like to know about your pet
I really would appreciate knowing if there's anything to look out for or to be mindful of when I'm with your pup. If there's any behavioral concerns that might come up when we're out and about (i.e. leash aggression, prey drive, dog aggression, etc.). Medical conditions that might flare up, or need to be treated when we're together (i.e. diabetes, IBS, arthritis, epilepsy, allergies, etc.). And lastly, what's the quickest way to their hearts! Is a good snuggle, a treat, or a long walk the way to become their bestie!
A typical day
No one knows your pup like you do, and no one knows their preferences like you do. If you and your pup have a preferred trail or area you like to play at and walk through I'm more than happy to take them there to keep them consistent with their routine. But if there's more flexibility in where we can go, I'd love to take your pup around to new walking paths and areas so they can get the most enriching and exciting experience out of our time together! I also love having a good old fashioned game of tug-o-war and fetch for days when your pup just wants a little bit less adventurous day, as well as the occasional pup cup (if permitted) to really seal the deal on a day of fun!

Availability
While I work full time at the zoo, I have nontraditional weekends which means I am available all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and available after 4:00pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
