Hi! My name is Camryn and I am currently a kennel technician and dog bathed at a boarding and daycare facility in San Luis Obispo. Before starting my job at the kennel, I was volunteering at the SLO County animal shelter, participated in a Vets Assistant course through Cuesta and had a job working in a local pet store as well as grooming botique. I one day hope to operate a grooming business, and plan on enrolling with a certification program. I have had a love for animals of all kinds since I can remember. I’ve always had pets living with me, big and small dogs, cats and more! I’ve worked with dogs with various personalities, behavior tendencies, size and temperament! I love to go on walks and love going to the beach, but am also more than happy to hangout at home! Camryn was our savior when we were looking for a sitter at the last minute. She responded right away when I contacted her and accommodated our less that 24hr notice. I was a little nervous about using this service and having someone stay at our house while we were gone, but Camryn set my mind at ease right away. Throughout our trip, she sent us photos of our dog and kept in contact with us the whole time we were gone. When we returned, we found our house extremely clean and all of our mail very organized with notes of when each piece arrived, she washed the bedding and left the house smelling and looking great. Her communication was great, but most of all... when we got home, the dog looked like he had a great vacation too!!! We will be using Camryn on our future trips for sure!
Camryn is he most loving and caring dog sitter you can ever ask for. I’ve never met anyone as good with my dogs as Camryn. She loves them and cares for them as her own. I have 4 dogs and I can feel confident leaving them with Camryn because I know they will be loved and cared for as much as I love them. Camryn is completely dependable and responsible and I can recommend her with confidence.
Camryn C. loves animals and in particular , dogs, more than any other person I know. She has told me several times she wishes she could open up a dog sanctuary because of the big heart she has for dogs. Almost every Facebook post you will notice is usually about animals. She is an extremely huge advocate for the humane treatment of all animals.

Although it won’t change my watching the pet, I need to know your pets name and things he doesn’t like vs things he does. Is he food aggressive? Certain potty preferences? Active or couch potatoe? Those sorts of things. I can work around those.
A typical day
Activities can include walks to the beach or park or even just around the neighborhood. Individual play time right at the comfort of home. I can bathe, brush and clip nails as well!

Availability
I work full time at the daycare and boarding facility, with hours ranging from 6 am-6pm. When working full days, I will most likely have a split in between shifts. I will some days of the week only work until the afternoon, and other days I could start at 10 am and finish at 6. It all just depends on the given week/dates. If requested far enough in advance, I could always take that time off of work. If visits, walks or sitting become a regular occurrence, I can ask for set days off as well. Thank you for understanding, as I reach towards a career goal with more schedule flexibility!
