I cannot explain the happiness being with and caring for dogs brings me! In fact, for the majority of my childhood/adolescent years it was my dream to be a veterinarian. I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends since childhood, and have raised more than 30 puppies in my life. Throughout my early teen years one of my dogs had five litters within two years, and each litter had at least seven puppies! At the same time, my family had a guinea pig, hamster, hedgehog, and 2 other permanent doggies in our family (I say “permanent” because considering how many puppies there were from the litters, we had to find homes for the majority of them). So needless to say, I grew up taking care of dogs and other animals of all ages and sizes. I understand the responsibility and importance of making sure our four legged besties are given nothing but the best care. And nothing brings me more joy than doing just that.
