Caring and capable animal caretaker
Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs for most of my life. I connect with animals deeply and love spending time with them! I have cared overnight for dogs before, and have done drop-in visits for cats before. I have volunteered with various animal rescue organizations including the SBWCN, Santa Barbara Humane, and Animal Rescue España, at which time I was able to care for wild animals and traumatized dogs. I have learned things from various trainers that I have used to train my own dog, although I by no means have the qualifications to be considered a “dog trainer.” I will always treat your pets and households with respect and care!
Reviews
Camille was so sweet and took great care of our cats. We definitely would love to use her next time we go out of town.
Camille overnight sat for me and was amazing. She is easy to communicate with, caring, and very responsible! No issues and my puppy loves her. She took great care of the house and my baby!
Camille was great! Sent me looks of pictures and my pup was happy and safe! would definitely use again
I have known Camille for about 4 years. She is an extremely kind, personable, responsible, and intelligent young woman. She has watched and walked my dogs often. Our Lab, Maggie, recently passed away at well over 14 years of age. Her mobility had declined quite a bit in the last couple of years but Camille gave her plenty of attention and love. Our remaining dog, Phoebe, was an abandoned abused dog that we got from a rescue group ~4 years ago. She is a skittish dog, uncomfortable with people and other dogs in general. However, Camille is able to make her feel at ease and enjoy her walks. In addition to Camille’s loving ways with my pups, I completely trust her with access to my home and know that I can count on her reliability. Camille is a great find!

I understand that all pets have different needs. If your dog thrives with cuddles and short bouts of play time, that is what I will provide. If your dog wants to go for a half hour run followed by an hour long walk and chasing a ball, that is what I will provide. My goal is for your pet to be happy and well taken care of by the time you get home.
Information Camille T. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know if your dog has any special needs, if they are injured or have had surgery recently, if they are on medication, and if they have any reactivity, possessiveness, or separation anxiety issues. Although I will likely not need it, I should also have your vet’s emergency number on hand.
A typical day
I’ll give your pet proper exercise and mental stimulation for their needs. One way I provide mental stimulation is by hiding food in an area of the yard or the home and having the dog use its scent to find it. I will play with the pup’s favorite toys with them and throw balls if there is an appropriate place to do so! Walks can be anything from a leisurely stroll to a jog or strenuous trail hike depending on what’s best for your dog.

Availability
I am a full time university student, so I am happy to do walks and drop-ins most days, however overnight stays will be rare and I ask that they’re planned a bit in advance. I also will likely only do overnight stays for hypoallergenic or less shedding breeds due to my allergies.
