Growing up with parents that are vets, I have always been surrounded by animals. From fostering puppies when I was 10 to now working as a veterinary assistant, I have decades of hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I recently graduated from Virginia Tech with an Animal Science degree, and am also working towards my Masters. I own a dog and cat myself that are more like family. Pet care is my specialty!

Camille Mitchell, an aspiring veterinarian and longtime pet owner, has recently applied to Rover. However, her adoration and keen sense of responsibility for animals has been longstanding. Growing up in a household with two parents who are veterinarians and 12 animals, she was exposed to an immense of animal accountability at an early age. Spending her weekends and summers working at her local vet clinic, she was responsible for feeding, cleaning, grooming, and walking animals with a wide variety or personalities. In addition to her hometown clinic, she has worked at Virginia Tech’s vet hospital for over year. I would have utter confidence in Camille with watching over my animals.

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks and just enjoying the outdoors. I think stimulation is so important for our pets, and love to engage and help them exercise whenever needed. I like just spending leisure time with pets too, such as getting comfortable and watching a good movie.
