Let me hang out with your dog!
Pet care experience
Back to Rover after hiatus and excited to spend time with all kinds of pets! I go by Cam (they/them) but have not yet managed to get Rover to update this. I have had and/or cared for a variety of pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc) since childhood and have lived with dogs, cats (including my own of 14 years), and rabbits in the years since moving out of my parents’ home with 2 dogs and a cat. Until recently, I have not been able to have a dog where I live so instead of being sad about it, I want to hang out with your dog (or cat, etc)! I’ve received some training in handling particularly energetic dogs and am capable with dogs of any size and energy level. All dogs are good dogs in my book! Experienced in feeding, potty breaks, snuggles, fetch, long walks, and tug-o-war. I have also administered medication- both orally and injection. If you have any feline friends that need care as well, I am very experienced and have cared for many cats (including my own for 14 years) of all ages, sizes, and temperaments (bush cat? tree cat?) Whether you hire me for house-sitting, drop in visits, or walks, you can expect to find your home as you left it and your furry (and/or feathery, scaley, etc) family members happy and well taken care of.
Reviews
Camille was great with our dog, cat and home. She kept us updated while we were gone with texts, pictures and was very responsive. Would definitely recommend and book again.
Camille has been great! She is communicative, and my ‘lil 7lb fur baby Kali loves her! I highly recommend her for any kind of dog! ?
Camille was super communicative, updated me during my trip about how my cat was doing, offered to pick up some litter for me when she thought it was running low, cleaned up the mess my cat made one day (got into some dry goods and got them everywhere). Kitty was happy as a clam when I got back. Would recommend Camille highly! Would very likely hire her again if the need arises.
Camille always does a wonderful job taking care of my furbaby. I have a six year old cat named Muffin and Camille treats Muffin as her own. I can tell she was a happy cat when I got home, the liter box is always clean, she has food and water, and is a being her loud Muffin self. I would recommend Camille to anyone who wants to show their cat some extra love while they are gone.

Safety, trust & environment
I am very safety and security conscious and will ensure that your dog and home are kept safe and secure whether I am house sitting or dropping in to check on your pet or take your dog on a walk. I always lock doors while present and away, keep close supervision of pets, and follow a consistent routine around feeding, potty breaks, exercise/walks, medications, etc. This is how I care for the pets in my life no matter if they are in my life for a 30min walk or for 14 years (like my own cat, Cyd).
Information Camille H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs, medications or supplements, behavioral quirks, or anything else you think I should know before providing the best care possible for your best friend. Other important information includes preferences or restrictions for activities (dog park, tagging along on outdoor work activities, etc), the local vet you would want me to utilize in the event of an emergency, and any other expectations you have for the care provided to your pet while you are away. Please disclose use and location of in-home cameras if booking for house sitting.
A typical day
A typical day for me as a dog sitter/walker includes walks around the neighborhood and parks, games of tug-o-war or fetch, snuggles and lots of pets, and trips to the dog park (with your approval of course!) I work a great portion of my week remotely/from home so your pet will have little time alone. At your request/consent, I have the ability to bring dogs I am house sitting with me to work when I do have to go in- a great opportunity for dogs prone to separation anxiety, dogs with an abundance of energy, or even to provide any dog with a new enriching experience (this will be discussed in advance and will never happen without your prior approval).
