I have been rescuing stray and abused animals for 20 years, 18 of which I have known Camille. Even as a small child, she had a real connection with animals. Most of my dogs have been big, abused, pit bull-type dogs who often suffered significant trauma before finding their forever homes with me. Even the dogs who were scared of everyone and everything else have LOVED Camille from Day One! One dog met her once, shortly after rescuing when she was really shy and hid from everyone, but remembered Camille even after a long absence. She didn't see Camille for nearly a year, yet she ran right up to her, tail wagging frantically, beside herself with joy at seeing her friend! Another dog used to stand in her driveway when we went on walks until she came out of the house to give him cuddles. All my animals love Camille, and she has really been a huge help dog walking for me when I have been unable to. Camille is a lovely, kind, smart, and funny young woman who gives me hope for the future.
