Pet care experience
I love dogs! I am an experienced dog owner and trainer based in Truckee, and have taken multiple dog obedience training classes (Savvy Dog) myself. I’ve raised and trained dogs ranging from an 8-week old puppy with no manners, to an under-socialized rescue dog from the shelter. My approach is training with positive reinforcements and being attentive to the special needs of the dogs, as every dog is different. I have my own home, with no kids, at Donner Lake. The property also has a fenced private beach to let your dogs run freely and get their exercise in, or just simple daily walks. Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, backpacking, camping, standup paddle board, mountain biking - pretty much all things outdoor!

Camille sent us photos of Ivy almost every day. We could tell that she was having a blast while we were gone! The house was immaculate. I hope that she will be available next time we go out of town.
I had a last minute 3-day engagement and needed some help to get my dog a mid-day break. Camille suggested that I board instead of any for walks, based on logistics and cost, and it worked out beautifully. Camille took great care of my girl, taking her for beach adventures and out on walks with her own dog. Clearly she had a wonderful time.
Camille is amazing! So responsive and communicative, super clean and respectful, and took amazing care of our Redford. He had the best time with her and Sully and we’re so grateful we found her!
This was our first time using Rover for an extended stay and it could not have gone better. Camille was very flexible and communicated quickly the entire time. Her pup and our pup got along great and had a ball playing together. We would love to use Camille again and highly recommend her!

My 3BR place at Donner Lake has a balcony, common yard and fenced private beach. I am happy to come to your homes for dog walking, house sit or watch your dogs at my house (I live by myself with my dog!) I'd like to proactive discuss space, exercises, and diets required by your dogs and come up with a plan beforehand. If you desire house sitting, I will be bringing my goldendoodle who loves hanging out in his crate/pen day and night.

A typical day
Walk around the Donner Lake neighborhood, swim in Donner Lake, play on our HOA beach (fenced), toys for the dogs to play with! My goldendoodle has very energetic so we exercise daily.
