Pet care experience
Hello my name is Camila, Im a senior at UTSA. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young and have since developed a passion for them. My goal is to soon attend graduate university and study to become a doctor in veterinary medicine for as many animal types as they allow. I have had many animals including cats, dogs, small animals, reptiles and more. I love attempting to train young and adult pups of all sizes. I love walking and running w a companion. I can also bathe them an take care of any other needs you may have. If your pet requires special needs I can accommodate them as well (medications, special needs animals, geriatric or senior animals, etc.) I also enjoy taking and editing some photos of pets which you can see in my gallery, and do so for shelters to help with adoptions as well <33 I prefer a hands on approach to caring for furbabies, I enjoy sending updates and photos to owners to keep everyone happy. Most importantly I want to build trust between myself and your family, I always encourage using “nanny” cams while you are away if you have access to them, I find it helps me stay calm and connected to my babies while I’m gone. It can be really hard to leave your baby in another persons hands. Each animal is different and I take pride in taking time to gain an animals trust, and yours as well!

Hi!!! Cami doggy sat for both our pups. Blue is our Australian Shepherd and Ollie is our mix pekinese/shitzu. They both loved her and loved to play with her when we had to leave out of town and she would take care of them. She’s wondeful with our dogs, she would feed them, play with them, take them out to potty and run a bit in our backyard and would send us pictures and videos. I highly recommend her if you ever need a sitter for your pets ❤️
Cami has taken care of our Luna, a Maltese, on multiple occasions. We were more than pleased with the care she provided. From the moment we met her, her love for animals was evident. She was genuinely interested in getting to know Luna very well. Luna also liked her from the start. We knew our baby would be safe, and happy under her loving care. I highly recommend Cami!!
Camila is an animal lover and has been a pet sitter since a young teen. She has always taken care of our neighborhood pets when people are out of town or stuck at work etc. I personally captured her on our cameras and was touched at the living care she gave my fur babies. It is not only a job for her, but she thoroughly enjoys making sure all of the pet’s needs are taken care of. I highly recommend her for any pet care needs. She is responsible and goes above and beyond.

I prefer caring for dogs in their own homes. Firstly I have two cats and a dog, all strays and the dog is still being trained as he was very traumatized when he came into my care. However if you need and feel comfortable with you dog coming to my home I can assure you complete separation and constant updates and photos will be sent. Second, I find that caring for an animal in their environment helps with anxiety of owners leaving and I understand the fear of possible bad intentions when someone you are not familiar with is going to be in your home but if we meet and you give me the opportunity you will see that there is no need to worry with me! I also encourage ”nanny” cams or other forms of watching your pets in home! Overall, trust is to be built and earned and I am excited to speak with you and address any questions, comments and concerns you might have!

I have no preference of animals, my only request is that we have a good meeting so that I can provide you and your baby exactly what they need while you are away!
A typical day
I love caring for all animals. If they are lazy I’ll cuddle and watch movies with them. If they’re high energy I will make sure they get all the play time they need. Regardless I will try to incorporate stimulating activities such as toys, kongs, sniffing outdoors and more. I can take them to a park if you feel comfortable. Most importantly I will try to maintain their routine and schedule to the best of my ability so that they feel normal and better about their owners not being with them!

Availability
I will be attending school Tuesdays and Thursdays only from 2pm-7pm but will see how the teachers attendance requirements are. Other than that I’m flexible with schedules. I am saving to hopefully attend and obtain a post-graduate degree and become a doctor in veterinary medicine. Thank you for considering me.
