Pet care experience
I have had rescue dogs my entire life. I understand the anxiety of leaving animals at home for any reason so I want to relieve some of that stress for pet owners. I do not have an animal in my house am I am a new home owner. I have been dog sitting since high school and I also have experience fostering dogs and cats from a local shelter. I have experienced dog walking, dog sitting, feeding and bathing pets from both their own homes and my own.

I do live in a townhome without a yard. However, I prioritize walks multiple times a day. I abide by the same rules that pet parents follow at home. I do have one piece of furniture I allow animals to go on, mostly because it has a good view of outside that animals enjoy! I do have a bath tub for dogs that may need special bathing care. The largest dog I have had in my home was a standard poodle that required medicated baths and I did not have any issues.

I would like to know how your dog does when they see another dog on a walk. I also would like to know how they do when passing by a stranger and if they are friendly! The safety of your dog, myself, and neighbors is the most important and I never want to place your dog in a position where they feel uncomfortable. I would also like to know if they have any fears (thunder, etc.) so I can be prepared. Also feel free to let me know what makes them happy and how they prefer to play! I want them to enjoy their time with me and make time away from pet parents as stress free as possible.
A typical day
I live in a very big neighborhood with lots of grass, I already love going on walks so having a furry friend with me makes those walks 10x better! I recommend bringing your animals toys so I can play with them during their stay. I do not do dog parks unless specifically requested because I don’t want to risk fleas or any incidents!

Availability
I work mostly from home and have a very open schedule. I only go in to work for a few hours at a time twice a week. I spend most of my time at home during the week and coordinate my weekend schedule based on my caregiving priorities of the week!
