Pet care experience
For the last 5 years, I have been blessed to love, teach, and care for human Kindergarteners! Before that, however, my charges had 4 legs! I have walked and watched many different dogs for family friends and neighbors. Growing up, my family had 4 dogs- 3 of them at the same time!- when my dad worked at North Shore Animal League. Since they've passed, I've loved helping my mom pet sit in her home. Additionally, I have experience caring for many other types of creatures, and my family or I have had hamsters, a bunny, fish, crabs, frogs, and currently, a hedgehog!

Cameron is a wonderful dog walker and caregiver. He sent many pictures and took such cute and thorough pictures of Otto on their walks. I will use Cameron as much as possible!
Cameron was awesome, he responded right away and was able to come and watch my Elsie girl on super short notice. He was polite, had amazing attention to detail and was very good with Elsie. Would definitely recommend him and book him again!

I truly believe in providing the attention and affection I would want someone to provide my pets. While I am confident I am going to enjoy this work, I know that it is work, and that someone has put their trust in me. I promise you that your pet will be my sole concern while I am caring for them, be that feeding, walking, playing, letting them out in your yard, or giving them a good ear rub! I know the importance of being diligent with details, such as keys and locks, doggie gates, keeping dangerous objects out of reach, and making sure your pet stays safe and healthy. I will treat your home as a place of work and act accordingly. I also believe that meeting pets and pet parents builds trust between all parties and gives me the information I need to keep your pet safe!

A typical day
From teaching human kiddos, I know the importance of routines and will seek to maintain your dog's routine as much as possible to minimize how much they miss you! I love being active with furry company, and am happy to play inside or outside with toys or just running around! I also love to provide pets, scritches, love, and company to less ergetic pets who still need companionship. I know many animals need some balance of movement and stationary interaction, as well as how to respect the boundaries of pets who need some space! Please let me know what you think you pet needs, because I am here for you and your pet!

As an elementary school teacher, I am off of work in the afternoons, and looking for Southern Brooklyn pups to fill my time! On weekends, I am usually visiting family around Woodbury, Long Island and also looking to take care of your furry friend then!
