I have lived with multiple dogs for almost all my life meaning caring for them young and old. I have also been trusted by family and friends to sit their dogs as well.

I try to let dogs get used to me by using their name a lot and building trust that way. I also build trust with treats and being very passive at first so the dog does not get frightened.
Information Cameron N. would like to know about your pet
It is very important to me to know if the dogs are okay interacting with other dogs. I really don't like a conflict with other dogs so this is important for me to know. I really also like to know what sets the dog off are things that bother them and make them uncomfortable. It is really bad for the relationship between a person and an animal if you do something that makes him uncomfortable and you get off on the wrong foot.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to either parks or areas that have big patches of grass so that if they are well-behaved dogs I can let them off the leash and they can run around freely. I also love to play with dogs and their toys whether that is tug-of-war or simply just throwing a squeaky toy. I am a very playful guy so these are my two favorite things to do with dogs.

I am usually always available in the afternoons as I am currently balancing an evening internship schedule. But most of the time I am free to sit the dogs anytime after 11:00 am.
