I’ll treat your fur baby like my own! I’ve been professionally pet sitting for 3 years and strive to make the animals in my care the happiest they can be! I worked at Petland in Kamloops, BC, and have been professionally taught how to care for dogs, train them, and how to give them the best life possible. I dog/cat sit because I can’t get my own animal while I’m in university, but I love them too much not to take care of them :) All my knowledge and excitement for dog care will make me a great sitter for you and your family. I’ve also had cats almost all my life, one of them now getting older and in need of constant medical attention which I take on when I’m home, meaning if you need certain kinds of medical care I’m able to provide that. I’m so excited to meet you and your pup!! Currently most of my schooling is online so I am very flexible and able to spend almost all day every day with your pet if need be. COVID 19 INFORMATION: I have both Pfizer vaccinations. I want to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible while I care for your pet(s). We can do our meet and greets over zoom, and when it’s more appropriate to have an in-person meetup, we can do it outside with masks and respecting social distancing, or whatever makes you most comfortable. When I leave your home, I will disinfect behind me using pet-friendly disinfectants. If there are any additional safety measures you would like to take, we will do so. A bit more detail about me- I’m in my first year of my masters studying sustainability management at the University of Waterloo. Eventually I’m planning on becoming a sustainability manager for NGOs or businesses. In my spare time I like to hike, read, and canoe/kayak— A lot of outdoor stuff and I’d be more than happy to bring your dog with me on my adventures in the woods.
