Thanks to my family, I can't name a time in my life where I wasn't constantly around animals. Spending time with my grandmother meant I was always around multiple dogs (ranging from Pomeranians to Pits), I've cared for my aunt's horse & deaf Australian Shepherd while she was out of town, & spent all of middle/high school with a dog of my own. In my home, we have 4 well-behaved dogs: Bear (~12 lbs, playful), Pepper (~26 lbs Corgi mix, cuddler), Abby (~55 lbs, American Pit mix, extremely playful), Bella (~50lbs, Span. Greyhound mix, loner). In the backyard, Bear, Abby, & Bella will play-fight til they drop while Pepper prefers to stay back and sunbathe. When they're inside, Bella finds empty rooms to hang out in, Pepper shadows whomever is moving around the house the most, and Bear tries to get Abby to wrestle with him. I'll be starting community college classes in the fall, but until then my schedule is basically empty. I'm currently majoring in Biology with an intent to focus on Wildlife, which I began pursuing at UC Riverside (I'm not returning due to financial aid errors they made), hoping to one day work as a scientific journalist for a major publication.
