Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs in all stages in life, including puppy and senior care. I have done a lot of medical care as well, including giving medication, dealing with incontinence, and providing tedious post operational care. Additionally, I have provided house sitting and check in care for neighbors’ cats since I was 16. I view our animal companions as members of our family, and strive to provide them with the love, attention, and engagement that they deserve. I have grown up with dogs and cats since I was a child and love all animals!

Cam has been a great reliable dog sitter for me for over a year. My dog always likes going to spend time with her because he recieves a lot of love, cuddles and care. Cam also sends photos and daily updates about how my dog is doing while she watches him. I highly recommend Cam as a dog sitter. She has watched my dog for up to a week at a time and he is always returned happy and healthy.
Cam, used to pet/house sit for me when I traveled for work. MY pup, Toldi, absolutely loved her and was always so excited when she came to watch him. whenever I returned, he was always very calm, and it was apparent that he was well cared for. Cam has a wonderful demeanor and understands dogs and they get her.

I am currently about to move, so at this time, I will not bring your pets to my home. This may change depending on my next housing situation. I truly believe pets are more comfortable in their own homes, anyways, so I’d prefer to keep them in that safe space. I have done both overnight stays and drop in check ins for dogs in the past. I do have my own dog now, so if you’d prefer house sitting, she would need to come with me. She’s friendly with all dogs and loves to play if they engage. However, I am also happy to do nightly and morning drops ins instead of overnight care, without bringing my own dog. Your home is your safe space as well, and I will respect all rules given.

A typical day
I love to be outside! I enjoy walking dogs in casual areas, like on the rec path, or taking them on hikes, depending on what their needs and preferences are. I love bringing them to new areas so they can explore and check out new scents! I have a dog-proof back seat in my car, so as long as it’s ok with pet parents, I am happy to drive the pup to a new trail or spot.

Availability
I work full time in summit county Monday - Friday, but my schedule is quite flexible. I am allowed to telework or work in person. I am able to run errands and check on pets mid day as long as I am not missing any meetings.
