I'm very accustomed to caring for fur babies! I’ve had dogs of my own before, as well as living in homes where I would often be the pet-sitter for roommates and friends. Currently, I don’t have pets of my own, but absolutely adore looking after other people’s animals. The longest I babysat a friend's dog was over a 3 month time period (while they were working out of town). During the 3 month period, I administered medication regularly along with the other responsibilities that come with caring for the dog. I love taking walks with pups, playing outside in my fenced-in backyard, and getting lots of snugs in, too! I am very diligent when there is a special need like medication, and have plenty of experience and patience to make sure your pet is well taken care of, healthy, and happy. I work part time and am also in school part time (online!). When I am working on school, I like to study at home, so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pet. When I work, my shifts are normally no longer than 6/7 hours at a time. I work one of two different shifts: either 6:30am-1pm, OR 12pm-6:30pm. I usually have about 2 days off per week from work. I am pretty flexible! My roommate works full time from home, so even when I am not there because of work, there will almost always be someone at home to be with the pet(s). I have a fenced in backyard which has plenty of space to run and play! I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood with lots of sidewalks for daily walks. There are several parks nearby which I have taken dogs to in the past. My roommate and I currently have no pets of our own, although we are both well accustomed to (and LOVE) caring for animals! Between me and my roommate, one of us will always be home to give love and care to your fur baby. (I work part time in town, and she works full time from home!).
