Pet care experience
I've taken care of several different species of pets in the past 15 years, including several in/outdoor cats, a rabbit, two hamsters, a chameleon, and our family Labrador Retriever. Since I was young, I've had a large amount of compassion and consideration for all living critters and creatures. I've also nurtured many types of animals as they were sick, healthy, hurt, anxious, etc. I've also housesat, catsat, and dogsat for a number of people in Indianapolis, just in this year alone. My experience, multiple-species expertise, and unconditional care creates a space where your pet is not only looked after, but loved on.

Lyn took excellent care of my cat Minou! It's always nice to leave home knowing that my cat is with a cat-lover, and that's how it is with Lyn. My cat is very shy, but I was happy to see she felt comfortable and safe with Lyn.
Calyn has watched my 2 cats on several occassions, ranging from 3 days - 2 weeks (while I was overseas!) She took wonderful care of them and my home, loved on them, sent me a few pictures, and even cleaned up a mouse they caught for her! I have a very high level of trust in Calyn to take care of my pets as she does her own, with care and attention.
I've seen how attentive Calyn is to her own cat's needs and how loving and caring she is for him. Her love and sympathy extends to any animal she comes across. She's always ready to care for them and get to know every unique personality. I also know that she can sympathize with owners who have left their fur baby at home for a couple days—I watched her cat for a couple days last summer while she was away. She knows how stressful it is, and so she will be able to provide great communication and an excellent service.

As a current cat parent myself, I appreciate when I know my cat is in good hands. This not only relieves my stress, but his as well. I can return to preparing for my trip, meeting, or holiday prep worry-free. I have firsthand experience placing my pet's care into another's hands. It took so much much trial, error, and good luck before I settled on a small roster of people who look out for my baby just as well as I can. My fur child deserves to be just as safe and comfortable in his living arrangements as I am in mine, no matter where I am. Finding that type of care is no small feat either. Assuaging my worries (and his) on top of everything else that traveling demands, can really be the cherry on the top of my stress-out sundae. If you resonate with some of these concerns, then I may be the pet sitter for you. I will read the list of your special care instructions AND follow through on their necessities to soothe your nerves and those of your pet. Given the opportunity, I'd love to be a companion they can count on for meals, play/fun times, walks, and any other special activities you share with your little one. Meanwhile, allowing you to relax and lean into your confidence that your pet is in great hands. So, let me do what is necessary to remedy, not only your anxiety, but your pet's as well. I love spending time with all pets in getting to know their personalities and needs. Each animals is unique in how they respond to newcomers taking the reins of their care routine. I often set aside time to just play with and encourage my new furry friend out of their shell. ??
