Hi there! I live in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania and work from home. I have grown up & cared for dogs my entire life. I have my own furry son named Kelo who is a two-year-old German Shepherd. Whether it is dog walks, doggy day cares or boardings at my own place or someone else’s, I have done it! I have taken care of a variety of pets consisting of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, chickens, and dogs with behavioral concerns. I care for each animal as it is my own, ensuring that all of their needs are met to make them happy, healthy, and safe. Not only do I have experience with Rover but also work with the Wag App as well. I grew up with German Shepherds throughout my whole life, but I love dogs of any size and age. I know with my experience, energy and friendly personality I would make sure that each animal I care for is properly taken care of with walks, food, playing catch, baths, cuddles, cleanliness, safety, etc.

Callie did a great job taking care of our pets while we were out of town! We could tell when we got home that our pets had been well cared for while we were gone- they were all very calm and content. Having Callie stay at our house gave us such peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away, knowing our babies were in good hands!
Callie has had animals in her life from the day she was born. She has a kind heart and a lot of patience. Her love for them gives her the tools to understand their needs ,not only to enjoy their company but to also keep them safe and out of harms way .

I would treat your pet as my very own. I would respect your pet and respect your home, as well as follow the guidelines on how best to take care of your pet(s). I have taken care of many animals, of different sizes and all different ages and behaviors. I have gone through some beginner group obedience training with my dog and behavioral training as well. I continue to educate myself and learn from professionals about dogs which has taught me to grow as a pet parent. I live on 24 acres, so whether your dog needs to be on a leash, that is not a problem or if your dog needs to be in a crate, that is not a problem either. I have a dog of my own and he would always love to spend some time with another furry friend. We have room to run around, go on walks, and have a vehicle, so we can socialize in town or discover new walking/running trails together or separately. Whatever your animal needs, we will work together to discuss the best option for them.

I would like to know their name, age, and breed, along with any safety precautions if they are allergic to anything or need to take any special medications. Also to add, I would like to know if they get along with other dogs in case we run into some going on walks or playing outside, and any other animals. What is their behavior like and what are the commands that they know and listen to or maybe do not listen to and what can I work on with them? We will communicate clearly prior to the meeting and care of your pet so it is clear what your pet needs to be happy, comfortable, and safe.
A typical day
I would take your dog to a park or a nearby hiking/walking trail. Other fun activities include playing ball or brushing the dog. If a dog likes a certain game that the owner has told me to play with them, I will. Or if it loves naps then hey we will nap and hang out! I have learned some obedience training and behavioral games as well that I could do with your dog too. I want to make your dog as happy as possible so please let me know how to accommodate them!

Availability
I currently work from home, Monday - Friday (8:30-9am-5/6pm), so I have flexibility throughout my day during the week for walks and weekends for more activity. I am more flexible with a timeframe to care for your pet, not so much an exact time. This is due to potential client meetings that I might have therefore it varies, but willing to work with you and your pet to make it work! I am an active person in general with my own dog so early mornings and busy days are a normal day for me!
