Animals have always been my passion. I began volunteering at Animal Friends at the age of thirteen and even assisted with animals that were recovering from spay and neuter surgery for my Senior Project. My volunteer experience has allowed me to work with all sorts of animals like dogs, cats, and rabbits. Growing up, we had quite the variety of pets including rodents, birds, and even snakes, so I feel comfortable handling almost any pets (unless you have tarantulas!). Unfortunately, my apartment complex does not allow me to keep animals so I will be unable to board yours, but I am more than happy to do over night stays! I am currently in college so my availability is limited until the end of April. I can do walks and visits weekdays and Saturday after 5pm, and all day Sundays. For over night visits, I would need to leave early in the morning for class, but as long as you don't mind that neither do I! It is also important to note that one of my family's pugs is a rescue with pretty severe emotional issues. Spending time with her has helped me feel comfortable dealing with animals that have trust and anxiety issues, so if that applies to your pet please do not hesitate to let me know.
