Pet care experience
I have years of experience dog sitting, boarding and walking. I currently live with 3 Boxers, a chihuahua and some humans. I will always care for your dog as you would. I want to make both owners and dogs as comfortable as I can when I am caring for your pup. I have experience with all size breeds and all ages. I have a Chihuahua mix of my own who can come to work with me or stay home depending on client preference. Her name is Mia and she is friendly, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines and monthly preventative medications. You will often find me and the dogs in my care on walks, playing in the back yard or visiting the dog park if the owners are okay with us taking field trips! I want to be the person my dog sees me as to all dogs because they are my best friends! I work to accommodate my clients as they would prefer to have their animals cared for while also insuring safety of all parties. I prefer to be transparent and have open communication with clients where we both can feel comfortable asking questions so that we are on the same page.

I am so glad we decided to contact Callia to help look after our toy poodle while we were away. Callia is punctual, communicative, responsible, and great with dogs. My dog took an immediate liking to her, and it was great to know he was in good hands. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have experiences with most kinds of harnesses, leashes, muzzles, kennels, lockboxes, and security systems. (Walking dogs was my main job for a few years) I will treat your pup and your home like I am on camera, whether I am or not. I am use to sharing my bed with pups and when they aren’t allowed I’ll often lay with them by or in theirs. 🥰

It is important for me to know if your animal has any special needs, behaviors you are trying to break, or aggressive tendencies. It is also preferred to know your dogs typical diet and eating schedule. I do not feed animals anything without the owners awareness of it before it is offered to the pet.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs stimulated both physically and mentally. I am open to walking, going to dog parks, playing in yards, playing inside or just hanging out with a pup. They will always get pets and cuddles (as long as they want them!)

Availability
I work part time remotely for my main job and typically work in 3 hour blocks. Most of my work I will do from home aside from paperwork, which I can do from anywhere. Taking frequent breaks from my work to check in with pups, stretch my legs and send updates to owners works perfectly with my work schedule.
