I am a young professional living in the West Village with my fiancé Tim. I have always loved dogs and grew up with a dalmatian (Perdita) and a chihuahua (Meeko). Tim is also a dog lover and grew up with a husky / shepherd mix (Max). Since we are not able to own a pet in our building, we are constantly seeking ways to keep dogs a big part of our life! For the past three years I have volunteered at Animal Haven Shelter in Soho, and I have experience fostering and sitting for dogs / puppies of all different breeds and sizes--and with many different temperaments and medical needs. I would love to take care of your dog when you need a hand! More about me and my availability: I am responsible, reliable, and caring. I work full-time in midtown so your dog will need to be able to spend a work day home alone. However Tim is often available to help out on weekdays if a lunch break walk is needed, and weeknights and weekends are wide open as indicated by my calendar. Your dog will get the care and support of two experienced, responsible dog lovers for the price of one! My experience administering medication: I have a lot of experience caring for a toy poodle with a heart condition, so I am very comfortable administering medication orally. I have less experience with injectables, but I am a quick learner and can accommodate with detailed instructions.
