Pet care experience
I am one of the ag education teachers at Wahpeton High, looking for another form of income. I have had dogs and cats all my life, and currently have a house cat in my apartment. I have been taught a lot about dog behavior and even took a class on animal behavior at North Dakota State University! I am flexible with time, dedicated, and someone you can trust. Being a teacher, monday through friday are less frequent in breaks but I'd be more than happy to assist on the weekends. I would love to come help you and your dog or cat! For my own cat, I am sure to use a measuring cup to feed her and refresh her water each day. I clean her litter box every day and am currently transitioning her to a new litter type. When working with cats, I am comfortable with grooming as well. For dogs, I can assist with consistency in training, provides I know what commands you want. I also know how to read behavior and the environment for safety of the animal. I love grooming dogs, even shaving them sometimes!

Please let me know what dietary or medicational needs your animal has. I also would appreciate knowing what their normal day looks like as well as what they do and do not like. Are they reactive to other animals or children? Do they love playing fetch or are they more into running?
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs to the dog park if I can. Getting them socialized or using their energy. It is also good to work on leash training and reactivity. I like walling along tree lines, through parks, or in quiet neighborhoods.

Availability
I work full time during the week but can do morning and evening walks, potty breaks, or check-ins. On the weekend I am available for more frequent releases. I do not do boarding as my apartment management does not allow it.
