Pet care experience
I have recently graduated from ISU with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. I am currently working at Animal Care Hospital as a kennel attendant/vet assistant, but I am still willing to look after your pets when I have free time. I have lots of animal experience. I have had pets ever since I was little, I have house sat for friends and watched their animals for a summer, and I have volunteered at an animal shelter for a summer back in high school. During junior year of college, I worked at an animal hospital. There, I walked dogs, fed them, cleaned their kennels, fed the cats, played with them. It was a great experience which I loved.

Caleigh has been great with Kona! She enjoys her walks during the day.
Caleigh is reliable and she sends pictures of her walk. She also does a report card which I enjoy getting as I know how Kona did on her walk. We will definitely use Caleigh again.
Caleigh has loved animals, dogs especially, since she was little and has had a Golden since she was 10. Her love of animals drove her to enroll at Iowa State University to seek a degree in Animal Science. During her Sophomore year, she worked at a kennel in Des Moines to gain some experience in that area. She is reliable, will accomplish the tasks set in front of her, and loves taking care of dogs, and she often told us stories of the dogs she spent time with at the kennel. I think Caleigh would make a great dog sitter, both because of her love for them, and because of how I have seen her interact with them.
Caleigh has loved dogs of all types since she was little. When she was 5 she wanted to be a dog!! She is now studying animal science at Iowa State University. She has worked at a kennel in Des Moines, IA caring for, feeding, and walking the dogs. She has been a pet sitter for a family with two dogs, a cat, turtle, lizard, bird, and flying squirrels! She loves her own golden retriever very much :) Caleigh is dependable, punctual, hard working and pays attention to detail. She is personable, easy going, and gets along with everyone. She would be an excellent addition to Rover.com!

Let me know if your pet has any special needs that need to be accounted for. I’m comfortable giving oral medicine, but I’m not so much medicine injections. I also live with my family, so if you’re pet isn’t comfortable around teenagers, let me know before hand.
A typical day
I’m an active person, so depending on how active your dog is, I’ll take them for a walk around my block or a longer walk for the active dogs. If your dog is staying with me, I’ll make sure to walk them, give them lots of play time while you’re away. If it’s a hot day, we may go to the splash pad so they can cool off in the hot summer sun.
