Pet care experience
Jr. Zoo Keeper at ages 9-12. Since then I’ve happily been a regular animal sitter for dogs and cats of all sizes (I’m 6’5” and the big dogs tend to love me). Currently studying at FCC with three majors: Nutrition and Dietetics, Kinesiology, and Psychology.

We recently had Caleb pet sit for us while we were out of town, and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. Leaving home is always stressful since we have a full house, three cats, three dogs (two small and one large), chickens, and even a fish tank, but Caleb handled everything with such care and attention that we felt completely at ease. He not only made sure everyone was fed and cleaned up after, but he went above and beyond by spending quality time with each of our pets. The cats got their snuggles, the dogs had playtime in the yard, and he even sent us daily updates with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. One of our older dogs needs medication, and Caleb made sure it was given on time every day without any problems. Our home was just as we left it, and all of our animals seemed so happy and relaxed when we got back. We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust with our furry (and feathery and scaly) family members. We’ll definitely continue to hire Caleb for all of our pet sitting needs!

Depending on what’s required for each service, I’ll change my routine for each animal and home. At my home we have a secure fenced in backyard, and plenty of toys and healthy treats to play with. Animals are a love and passion of mine, and if you leave your animals in my care, know that they will be loved and cared for as much as they are at home! I love roughhousing with the big dogs, and giving lots of cuddles to the little dogs.

Let me know if I need to puppy-proof any areas that may have plants or trinkets closer to the ground. Would prefer to be made aware if pets have an inclination towards digging or chewing on plants so I can make sure to secure our garden area!
A typical day
I’m experienced with high-energy, large breed dogs and enjoy engaging them in active play and exercise. Things like playing find the treat, fetch, and even forms of restling i’ve found to be perfect for mentally and physically engaging high-energy pets. I also provide gentle, specialized care for small dogs like Chihuahuas, including senior pets who may need extra attention and comfort. I’m comfortable with all aspects of pet care, from energetic playtime to soothing, hands-on care. I love animals, so it isn’t difficult for me to follow any type of strict schedule or diet to ensure their health and success.

Availability
I currently am a full time student with partial classes online, so I have plenty of time at home to take care of the two small dogs, two outside cats, and the 3 backyard chickens I do have. We practice catch and release with the cats in our area so helping the local community is an important part of what I believe in.
