Pet care experience
I currently care for my two cats, Bearded Dragon, and Pit Bull. I have had experience house-sitting for my mom and a family friend; both times included caring for dogs! When I was younger, my mom fostered dogs for the local animal shelter; so for all of my life I have been exposed to caring for dogs with various needs. I have also had experience administering oral medication (syringe and pills), walking dogs, various feeding requirements, and grooming necessities! I am willing to do anything that I believe I am capable of, including caring for special needs dogs, I would just need to know what care they require to know whether or not I can provide the care that they deserve! I also will be able to care for your cats and small animals, and will be able to provide all services listed above for them as well! I have experience caring for hamsters, snakes, Bearded Dragons, and Guinea Pigs, so if any need care while you’re away, I can care for them as well!

I’m an avid pet-lover and have been all of my life! Currently I care for my two cats, dog, and bearded dragon! However, I’ve had experience caring for small animals, reptiles, and fish, such as snakes, Guinea pigs, and hamsters! Because of my experience, I believe that I’ll be able to take care of any other animals in the home-including birds, turtles, and rodents! I’m a quick-learner so I would just need a run-down of the care your animals need and I should be able to make it happen! If possible, I would like to have a meet-and-greet with you before my stay, just so I know everyone a bit better before hand! If we can’t find a time for a meet-and-greet that works for both of us that is fine, I am able to start care without a meet, so long as I understood what their needs and routine is! it just helps for the animals to know me and me know them before you are already gone; but it’s not a necessity!

I would say the most important thing to know about a dog ahead of time is what their temperament is, especially what triggers them! Everyone’s dog responds different to different stimuli, so it is good to know how dogs respond to various triggers; such as the level of food aggression, possessiveness, protective qualities, and how they interact with people and other dogs! If possible, I would also like a printed/written care sheet, with feeding schedules, walking schedules, vet information, and all other care necessities!
A typical day
I love to play tug with dogs who enjoy it! I love cuddles with dogs and will make sure they feel loved and safe! I also enjoy going on walks and going to the dog park, and would be more than happy to take the doggies to the park! There’s a great park in NRH I love taking my dog to! Super friendly dogs and people there!

I’m currently working as a server and work exclusively nights, meaning I will only be away for 4-5 hours typically when I work! Meaning potty breaks and play time would be no problem!
